Google Cash and Other Income From Blogging

By BrianRS

To many people who don't fully understand the whole concept of blogging, the thought of accessing Google's cash via an online diary may seem a pretty remote prospect. What they don't realize is that today blogging is serious business and can provide the potential for people to stop the daily grind of going to work in an office, factory, shop or other routine day job and to work from home.

So how do they do this, well first of all you need to research exactly what it is that blogging is all about. It means understanding the different types of blog platforms that are available, how revenue can be made from blogs and how to use search engine optimization to drive traffic to your blogs so that you can cash in on the many ways of earning blogging money. Ideally you will identify a niche market that no one else has yet spotted, although if you can't do that then at the very least make sure you pick a subject for each of your blogs and stick to it, even political blogs have their audiences and if you can provide the information they are looking for they will visit your blog, providing they can find it of course.

We also know politicians are busy people that have to appeal to the wider public and canvass their support. So as they are usually busy filling in their expense claims they will very often consider employing third parties to maintain and update their blog portfolios. This is another way of earning money from blogging, being paid by a third party for blogging on their behalf and not only politicians require this service, but if you want to break into this market you still need to know your stuff.

This would not be my favored way of earning money from a blog, if you are doing all the work you may as well earn from that effort directly and ideally increase the value of your blog in the process. Google blogs for instance are fine under certain circumstances but having your own domain name and promoting that, is in my opinion a better option.

There are lots of other ways of earning from your own blog, using Google AdSense to get Google cash is probably one of the most popular, you sign up with Google and they place adverts on your blog that relate to the subject you have written about, hence the need to stay on a subject, when the add is clicked on you make a small commission, this method is called pay per click.

Joining affiliate programs is another way, plenty of affiliate programs out there that will be happy to let you market their products and pay you a commission if you send a buyer to their websites, in this case you only get paid if they buy something, this method is called pay per action.

Some people write useful information and guidelines and create ebooks that they sell on their blogs or alternatively they may have products or services that they sell using their blog as the marketing tool. This is direct marketing that either sends you to their business website or sometimes the blog is set up as their only online presence.

You do have to work for this income however and don't let anyone tell you making money online is easy, in addition to knowing the business, which can mean a big learning curve, you have to constantly and regularly update your blogs, that's why search engines like them because they are a constant source for fresh contents unlike many websites that can have a tendency to become a little static in nature.

Blogging has become so much favourite that eight out of every ten individuals who are used to to this online sphere have a Blog. The fact that blogging has become so common can also be assigned to the fact that many popular blogging platforms have grown in the recent times like Blogger and Typepad which permits any person to start a blog for free. Creating a Blog with one of these no cost blogging platforms is so easy that even a starter can do it with ease. No technical knowledge is required at all and they have a utterly user friendly interface which facilitates everything, they also have a really elaborate help page and support department. The easiest manner to learn everything is to go to any of these blogging sites and create a blog yourself. I myself favour to use Blogger.com, which is a absolutely free blogging platform offered by the Search Engine giant – Google. This is the foremost free program available on the Net. They supply unlimited hosting space, full freedom to monetize your blog, freedom to utilize your personal registered domain name instead of there subdomain name, completely customizable and also new features are being added up daily. You just require a free Google that is a Gmail ID to start a blog at Blogger. When you have started a Blog its time to promote it decently so that you acquire plenty of visitors as the money earning power of a Blog is directly proportional to the amount of visitors it gets. Optimise it the right way to obtain organic search traffic from the search engines and also apply different marketing techniques, both paid like for example Google Adwords and free like for example Article Writing etc. After you Blog starts getting a considerable measure of visitors you can monetize it with various type of monetizing plans. They include Pay per Click Advertizements like from Google Adsense or Bidvertiser, Reviews, Text Link Advertizements, In-line Text Ads, Banner Ads and etc. A typical Blog can make atleast one thousand dollars each month after more or less one year of commencing.

Selecting an Affiliate Network

By Ralphb
Selecting and deciding any affiliate network program is difficult sometimes as you may think in the first place. You need to choose and take a decision on what types of products you would like to sell online, which makes a great deal of difference while deciding on which type of affiliate network program you need to sign up with and become a member.Firstly, for joining most of the affiliate networks you should carry out some basic checks - you need not worry on that since they are very simple checks that anyone can make, you should ensure that you are absolutely honest to yourself. Affiliate network programs like ClickBank don't have any mandatory requirements for you to authenticate yourself, and hence it is a good idea to check them out right at the start at the pre research phase of your internet marketing venture. If you have an interest in selling digital products through an affiliate network program, then your choice range is large and has a wider scope. In order to narrow down your choice amongst such a wide variety and range of products, you could ideally go through the ClickBank website first - ClickBank happens to be the biggest vendor dealing in digital products online. They have a good and long historical record and there payments are prompt and huge. ClickBank has paid out over $1.4 billion dollars since they started operating as online vendors, which is monumental and should be taken seriously. The popularity of a successful affiliate network program is based the premise of cost per transaction. There are plenty of affiliate networks available online from where you can choose the one you wish to join up with.. There is Neverblue ads, Commission Junction or cj.com, Hydra Network as well as Max bounty in the same business niche. All these companies have different but similar attributes and your decision to join would also dependent what you want to sell, at what prices and at what commissions. Many of these affiliate networks have a huge variety of offers, from Retail direct to trial products - for example Acai Berry diet supplements is a prime reference of a trial product sold online through affiliate networks. If you are planning to start a business that is suitable to you and the marketing niche you create in order to become an internet millionaire, then affiliate network marketing is a good proposition. Many Internet entrepreneurs start the business with article marketing, they create the content themselves in most cases while some operators hire ghost writers through portals like GetAFreelancer.com or EUFreelancer.com, to get good quality original content which is plagiarism free and good in composition and are without elementary mistakes They get this at a very low price, it saves them the time and effort of writing creative articles, but what they don't understand is that they cannot be familiar with their own website themselves by doing that resulting in inadequate knowledge. This aspect should be carefully considered by all budding internet entrepreneurs in the online marketing industry.

How to Make Money With Blogs - Making Money From Blogging

The 2 schools of thought that blogging for money can be broken down to1) Using 1 blog and setting yourself up as an expert, an opinion former or leader in a particular area of expertise.
2) Creating multiple blogs in micro niches and simply ramping up your activities across a range of markets.
1) Opinion Former/leader/expertTo pursue this strategy you need to be an expert in some area of activity..or at least become one. To do this you will devote all your resources of time, energy and creativity in one area. You will attempt to drive sufficient traffic to your blog because of your obvious expertise and your ability to provide useful content and information to your visitors. You will seek to build a loyal following and to do this you will need to demonstrate expertise and credibility.
2) Multiple Blogs in Micro NichesThis strategy is the polar opposite in that you simply follow the crowd in a particular area, and plop yourself down in front of them and sell them affiliate products, advertising and so on.This method does not require huge expertise or credibility..you are simply following the crowd and the money and hoping that if you can devise a method by which to make relatively small money you simply repeat the process on a larger scale. You are spreading your efforts across a greater number of areas, not looking for a huge return, but because of the sheer scale of building out your blogs you will still show a decent return. And you are spreading your risk..with the option of ramping up a particularly good niche if it outperforms others.

The Real Secret to Making Money With Adsense Blogging

One of the greatest wrong way of thinking among those trying to work on a business is you have to work hard in it, rather than work hard on it. If you're working in your business, you're altogether an employee agent with restrained potential, even though you own it; if you're working on your business, the sky's the limit, and you'll make the effort to do the correct things to make it enlarge and flourish.Things aren't with a blog. Here's how you do it, even if you want to makemmoney with a free blogger blog.Without exception, everybody commencing blogging to generate income will find themselves believing they're writers. All those with this mentality have the columnist attitude, and you discern what that is afflicting them with now, and has been for a long time.Peruse almost any writing on how you generate money blogging and they'll always communicate to you to scribe quality content.Appears accurate and precise doesn't it? But in truth, as far as producing an income with a blog, it's entirely false advice. Why you've heard this said over and over again is because all these people do is read what another 'writer' has perused somewhere else, and naturallyregurgitate it. Frequently the source goes back to a so-called A-lister. Reporters operate in this manner because it's their essence. In truth, they're regurgitators of existing information or events, and they reword it with their own phrases and/or slants. Where they strive and have problems is figuring out if the information is accurate, unless they're authorities in a field, which not many are. The point of entry to financially profitable blogging success therefore is to dismiss from you mind about being a blogger, i.e. journalist. Those of you writers who think you want fans won't believe this, but stay with me and you'll see why. What these A-list bloggers - which are really only a little handful - do is, make it appear like you can write your excellent content, charm a bunch of fans, get recognized , and finally make a lot of money through luring advertising cash. The only ones this works for are the A-listers, who as I said, are a tiny few. Larger niches served by this small number of A-list bloggers is pretty much not useful contesting in, as it would take a very long time to make a scratch in their business model, as why would someone go here and there when the top bloggers are already doing it? Don't scribe for readers, blog for Google and Google advertisers.I don't attempt to say by this that you don't have a blog or don't write posts for it, what I am saying is that it is only a small fraction of a blossoming blogging business, and you can do all that without a hitch and still make very little money. Your target must be on something other than fans. So what are the steps to work on your blog and not in your blog? What is the business side of penning for Adsense dollars? The affirmative side is it can be drab, ceaseless and laborious at times. Hehe. In other words, you're not going to have a lot of writers amenable to do that, and thus not much competition. This surmizes you're not endeavoring to do the pride thing and start off in extremely competitive categories. One retold truth that is the truth, is you must truly research you keywords, and you should launch in somewhat smaller niches you can control in a short time. This is critical just because of human nature. With a tiny and certain niche, you can do this in a relatively short time.Applyied to building backlinks, what words are included as the anchor text of the link are as critical as the link itself. If the link doesn't embody keywords or longtail keywords associated to your blog and blog content, they'll be almost trivial. So whatever backlink strategy you may use, make sure you use the correct words in your backlinks. Forget about using the 'click here' phrase unless you're only trying to make it look more real to the Google search engine bot. One further thing to do is mix the words in the anchor text a small amount so it doesn't look too forced. You want juice for your site, and backlinks with an assortment of words and keywords do that more completely than anything.Backlinks are 90 percent the way bloggers make money using Adsense on their blogs.

How To Earn A Six Digit Income With Blogging

The innate power of blogs as cash making instrument has lately invaded the online marketing community. It evolved into a new moneymaking tool and almost every online business owner started using to earn more revenue. There are even some moneymakers that are eventually producing six figure income only by making use of blogs. Amazing isn’t it? How do you make a six figure income with blogs? Most people who are generating six digits with blog marketing would likely hesitate to give up their secrets for no reason not until they can make more revenue by selling it in the form of an ebook. But the good news is that if you are really interested about producing that amount of income and you have money to invest, there’s a great possibility that you could become a six figure earner and a blog marketing expert as well. The stark truth about six figure blog marketing is that it can't be easily accomplished with only having just one blog. Lots of marketers would tell you that they're able to produce that large amount with just a single blog but the untold truth is that it will require several blogs to create a six figure revenue, and if you have the capital and the resources, it could be attained. The very first step that you should do is to discover the niches that are moderate in competition but could be easy to rank in the search engines. Doing so will give you a great idea of what you would likely be marketing in your blog and what you should stay away from. Determining a specialized market that only few marketers are promoting especially in the industry of web marketing is the most important step to do. On the other way, you then have to determine if the niche markets that you have researched are the ones that you you have passion with. Some start out with things that they have some expertise and obtain great results, whether they are niche markets or not. If your main target is to make six figure profits with blog marketing, you are going to find out real fast that hiring out some work to others is not a bad idea. Doing all of the work yourself is not something that is possible if you’re really serious to produce that amount of income. Just be sure that you pay for freelancers that you can trust and have a good reputation for making work done on time and accurately. I guess you will not want your workers put you behind schedule. If you are planning to hire out a part of your work to freelancers, you may want to plan and device an outline of just what is needed and what should be the priority. For example you need someone to set up your networks of blogs, or perhaps you should have someone else to write the content for the blogs. You can easily find good freelancers on respective markets that you are eyeing to blog about. You might also want to find some experts on the trade and pay them for the rights to their content. You can then freely post their articles as needed on your blog.If you’re seriously considering to make a six figure income with blogs, all your blogs need to be updated very regularly. You are going to have to update them as regularly as possible, and maybe even hire workers to aid you only to be sure that everything works smoothly. Aside from earning dollars with your regular online business assets, making a six figure profit with blogs is also an ideal online job. You can earn big income, while at the same time have nice people working for you. Just be certain that you hire those that real knowledge on what they are doing and are fluent in the language that you are marketing in as well. For example if your prospected consumers are English speakers see to it that your workers have a good command in written English language.

8 Ways to Draw Web Traffic to your Blog

A blog is a great way to pull in targeted audiences to your online business’ website. With a blog, you have a way to dialogue with your clients and a forum from which you can build a relationship. But the best designed blog, loaded with witty commentary and helpful resources, is no good to you if no one ever comes to visit. So how do you go about promoting your blog to bring in the web traffic you desire? Here are several things you can do to build traffic to your blog.1. Write useful and interesting posts. This is first on the list. The people reading your posts need to not just enjoy reading your posts but they must leave feeling that they’ve gotten something out of it. That way they’ll keep coming back. There’s a lot of interesting stuff to read out there, but who’s got the time to read them all? But if they read something that teaches them something useful, something that will help them earn more or do something better at the same time that it tickles their fancy, then they’re going to want to come back for more. 2. Update frequently. Okay, people like what they’ve read in your blog. They’ve bookmarked you, intending to come back. But if they re-visit your blog and find that nothing’s changed, then their attention’s going to wane. Make sure that you have fresh content consistently. Your readers will reward you by visiting regularly. Search engines also love fresh content. 3. Drop in on other blogs. Look for other blogs in your niche and participate in them. By providing useful comments, tips, and advice, readers may be induced to check out the link in your signature line. You can also agree to exchange links with the bloggers whose blogs you participate in or which are similarly themed. By doing so, you form a richly interlinked network. (There are various blogging software that can help you implement link exchanges.) 4. Join forums. Forums are great ways of building relationships with people of like interests. If they enjoy their exchanges with you, then they’ll more likely check out your links. You can also agree to reciprocally exchange links. 5. Optimize your blogs for the search engines. Search for the top keywords for your niche and use these to your advantage. Use your primary keyword in your domain name and, as much as possible, in the titles of your posts. Pepper your posts with secondary keywords.6. Ping the search engines. Register your blog in Ping-o-matic or a similar service. These services will notify or “ping” the different search engines each time your blog is updated, leading the search engines to check you out. 7. Register your blog in blog directories. Major search engines like Yahoo, Google, and MSN often crawl blog directories. Many people also look through web directories to check out the competition. This can result in more clicks to your blog. Some directories offer RSS feed updates. Do a search on the internet to find the directories that are relevant to your blog. 8. Install social media buttons in your blog. Add social media buttons like Stumble, Digg, Tweet, Share, Delicious and numerous others. That way if somebody likes what they read, they can submit it to Reddit or Digg, bookmark it in Delicious, or give it a Tweet or a Stumble. These will draw additional traffic to your blog. There are definitely other ways to promote your blog, but these eight should be a good start in bringing people to your site. Good luck in using them.

6 Easy Tactics To Increase Your Blog Traffic And Search Engine Rankings

There is one hard and fast rule in generating income for your blog: A steady flow of blog traffic. If no one goes to your sites, it hardly bares a chance of generating an income. Many sites have tried and failed in doing so, and these results to the sites demise. It takes money to maintain an income generating site; it also takes money to make money. The issue of traffic can be complicated. There are a variety of factors at play, and every strategy can be dissected and the details debated ad infinitum. Here I present to you the 6 Easy Tactics To Increase Your Blog Traffic And Search Engine Rankings that could help your site a whole lot. 1st-Content and LinksYou have to offer something that makes your site worth visiting. Content creates repeat visitors, increases their stay, encourages word-of-mouth type promotion and assists in improving a blog’s standing with the search engines.Every link can conceivably serve a traffic producer. You can leave the URL of your blog in the post comments, making it easy for all of that blog’s readers to find you too. If someone finds a link to your blog on another site, they are only one mouse-click away from being part of your traffic. Search engines also assess the number and quality of links to your blog. They regard sites that are linked to frequently as authoritative and reward them with higher placement in search engine results.Where to find free content?Type Free Article in your favourite search engine, you can find it all for free but with term and condition.2nd-Meta tagI know this sounds like something out of science fiction, but it is really just simple code. Many people believe that meta tags are the key to high search engine rankings, but in reality, they only have a limited effect. Still, it's worth adding them in the event that a search engine will use meta tags in their ranking formula. To find out if your page is set up with meta tags, you must access the code. To do this, click the "view" button on the browser menu bar, and select "source." This will pull up a window revealing the underlying code that created the page. If there are meta tags, they usually appear near the top of the window. For example, a meta tag would read: meta name="keywords" content=. If you do not find code that reads like this, ask your webmaster to put them in or you can greate a free meta tag here: http://www.scrubtheweb.com/abs/builder.html . This may not do much for your search engine rankings, but any little boost helps.Last but no least remember to choose a good blog topics and description for your blog.3rd-Exchange LinksNever underestimate the power of link exchange. This is a low cost advanced website traffic tactic that people tend to overlook. How to find out where to do the link exchange? Easy: type your sites keywords in a major search engine, visit each and every of the top results and ask for the link exchange.4th-Submit Your BlogKeep submitting your blog to directories like there's no tomorrow ! You can find lists of blog directories in many places, or you can simply search for blog directories using your Google search engine. 5th-Ping Your BlogThe ping is another unique tool for blogs that enables you to notify blog directories that your site has been updated. A ping is nothing more than a quick transmission to the blog directory, notifying them that there is new content. Pinging should be done every time new content is added to your blog. However, if you are adding several posts in rapid succession, you may want to either ping only once or spread out your posts over a longer period of time. Many directories and blog services do not look at over-pinging favourably. Ping Your Blog Here http://autopinger.com6th- Join Online Communities There are many reasons why you want to join community but the most powerful reason is to grow it virally. If you're doing niche marketing , it's very common for your market to share with others. when they found valuable resources - isn't that's how social marketing works?Join Twitter at http://twitter.com or you can signup Friend Connect for free at http://google.com/friendconnectOffer additional value on your blog. For Affiliate Marketing Partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.

Maximizing Your Blog’s Potential

Caught the blogging bug? Before signing up with any old and popular free blogging service, you may want to determine what you’d like the purpose of your blog to be. How many people would you like to reach? Would you eventually like it to make money? If you answered ‘yes’ to either of these questions, you may want to consider investing some money to maximize your blog’s chances at attaining the reach and ability you’re looking for.The first suggestion would be to purchase a personal domain name. This would separate it from the millions of common blogs out there by giving it its’ own official name and home on the internet. Best of all, it can be attained for only a few dollars a year. If you’re interested, there are many options on how to do so for as little as a couple of dollars to $20 a month. You can purchase a domain name from your web host, and many offer one for free when you signup. Just make sure you will actually own the domain name so in the case that you want to leave their service, you won’t have to leave it behind. The second suggestion is to get a paid host for your blog. Though you may be tempted to go with the free host, the features and ability to expand your site in the future will be limited. You’ll want to leave room for development, especially if your blog has its own domain name, which promises more – just by it’s name - than a free blog would. There are other valuable benefits that come along with a hosting plan. Many hosts offer one-click installations and other features such as shopping carts, web forums, and email lists; as well as the plugins common to free blogging systems. If you ever want to sell anything on your blog, this is definitely the way to go.So are you serious about your blog? If so, don’t waste any more time. Make a small investment. Upgrade your blog by getting a personal domain name and you never know - it may turn into the job you’ve always wanted.

Try to get paid by letting people know you like your web host.Always remember that when choosing a web host, choose the one that is known for its fantastic customer support. Pick The Best Niche For Your Blog

By Patrik Gisselson
Choosing a niche is the very first step in blogging. Before you start a blog, you need to have a niche or a topic to blog about. You might have many ideas, but you need to choose only one niche for one blog. It is best to get a topic that you love to write about. This is to avoid getting bored in long term. You must be sure of the content you want to present to your readers and to make sure that you will not get bored with the topic you choose. If you are wondering why successful bloggers can have so many things to write about, that is because they know what they are blogging about and they have passion in the topic they blog. Remember, you are going to be writing about the topic you have chosen for a very long time. There is no return once you have chosen a niche for your blog. Many people fail in blogging because they lose interest in the topic. I am sure you wouldn't want this to happen. Make sure you do everything you can to avoid this. There are many blogs in the blogosphere that are being abandoned because the blogger behind the blogs get bored and have no passion to continue blogging. So, let us look at the first step in choosing a niche. Brainstorming is a great way to start. This way you can gather as many ideas as possible so that you have more choices. You can pick a few that you truly like later but the most important is to gather as many blog ideas as you can. From art to science, I am sure there is a topic that suits you the most. When you are brainstorming, you can even ask for opinions from your friends and family. Ask about their interests and opinions on what they would love to read on a blog. Treat them as your blog audience and you will know what you need to cater to your readers. Readers are very important in order to make sure your blog stay active in the blogosphere. Then, you need to narrow down the ideas and start researching. Researching on the topics you have narrowed down is very important because you need to get an idea of what you want to write about. Perhaps you have narrow down books to be your topics, make sure you find out what type of books, the authors and other related topics to books. Once you have completed these steps, you should be able to choose your niche. Choose the one that you love the most. You will find the satisfaction of writing about something you know. The best part is the reward that follows. If you aim to make money from your blog, make sure your blog is popular with excellent content to attract more readers. This is also why some people prefer to choose a niche with a more targetted readers. You should give it a try.

Blogging Money - How to Get It

By Kim Skinner

Whether you build a blog to make money, or just to have your say, you need to understand the basics to be able to create one that people will want to visit over and over again.
Once you master the basics, you'll have the confidence and knowledge to speak about and make great posts that will entice your readers.
The term comes from the (relatively) old term, "web log." This term came to pass when people started typing up their thoughts on any subject they felt like ranting about, and posting it to the web for all to see.
Since then, "web logs" have evolved into a phenomenon of gigantic proportions. For various reasons, blogging is becoming more popular than building regular web sites.
For one thing, the search engines love them for the simple fact that new content is added on a regular basis. Being listed in the search engines is very important to any blogger because it means free web traffic.
You'll need to decide on a "Platform" on which to build your blog. Word Press is by far the most popular. It's free, user friendly, and search engine friendly. You can even use Word Press's free hosting. Most people, however, choose to use their own web host. Using your own web host gives you more freedom and it allows you to have your own domain name.
A web host is simply where you host your site. Basically, you pay for space on the internet to put your files up so your site can be viewed online. It allows you to have an address on the web.
There are free web hosts, but they usually place advertising on your web pages. There are fee web hosts that are seriously cheap, like less than $5 per month, and they're easy to find. Just go to Google and conduct a search for "web hosting." You'll get more than you could ever have the time to look at.
The only "must-have" in a web host for a newbie who will begin blogging is a program called "Fantasico." Fantastico is a software program offered by most web hosts that allows you to install Word Press, and many other programs for that matter, with just a couple of mouse clicks. Without Fantastico, you'll need to be pretty technically savvy to be able to install Word Press manually.
Your "domain name" is your web address. For instance, Google.com is domain name. Ideally, you'll want to choose a domain name that reflects the subject of your blog.
And, domain names can also be had inexpensively. You can get a domain name for under ten bucks a year.
Once you've gotten your web hosting and domain name, the fun begins. Now you get to do the actual building. There are thousands of free and fee Word Press themes available, all with different looks and color schemes.
You'll also come across the term "plug in." A plug in is just a small software program that works with Word Press to allow you to do some pretty cool stuff with your blog. They're a lot of fun and can save you time and make things easier for you, too.

Finding Content For Blogging

Blogging can be an incredibly rewarding activity. Some people start a blog to promote a business. Other people start a blog because they simply like the idea of having their own website and a blog is the easiest kind of website to start. Others blog because they have an agenda that they want to promote. Still others start blogs because they want to educate people about certain issues. Whatever your reason for blogging, there is one thing that all bloggers can agree on: finding content can be a big pain in the...you-know-where.
When you start blogging thinking of blog post topics will be easy. This is largely due to your level of enthusiasm over your new site. Most bloggers will write a few posts a day when they start out. As time goes on, however, finding things to blog about becomes more difficult. It is not unlike looking across the table at your husband and realizing that the funny story you were about to tell him is the same funny story you've told him fifty times and is probably bored with it.
So what do you do?
The first place we go when we need to find blogging content is the news. We look at headlines in our local area first to see if anything piques our interest. Sometimes an article or a topic will jump out at us and give us enough ideas that we'll have a few days worth of content for our blogs. Sometimes it is just a passing fancy that we mention only once. If no local news seems fitting for our blog (this will depend largely on your blog's niche), then we move on to national news and then world news.
If we don't find any current events to write about, the next place we look when we need help with blogging is our own entertainment cache. What have we been playing with lately? What books are we reading? Did we just see a movie that we can write about? Remember, blogging is about sharing opinions. Your readers want to know what you think about something even if it is just about a television show that was on last night.
If we still can't think of any blogging material, we call our friends. Sometimes having a conversation with a friend will remind us of a topic we wanted to cover. Sometimes we'll have such a great conversation that the conversation itself will become the topic of our blog post. Sometimes our friends will alert us to something that we think would work well for content.
Sometimes, in lieu of blogging original words, we'll start blogging original visuals. Blogs are a great place to display photos from your recent vacation (you've probably been meaning to post them anyway) or a quick sketch you did. If you draw cartoons, your blog is a great method of distributing those cartoons to the public!
Finally, if all else fails you can always write a blog post about having nothing to blog about. It probably isn't a good idea to do this too often, though!

Five Ways to Get Return Visitors to Your Blog

By Jan Shimano

It's not good enough to create an attractive blog and hope that people will want to come back to it again and again. You want to be able to develop a readership and the following five points will go a long way to accomplishing that for you. Here they are, in no particular order. Each one is very important.
Never underestimate the power of your Title. This is your opportunity to really capture the interest of your reader. You want to give enough information that the visitor to your blog is going to know what to expect from your post. That being said, you then want to deliver on that title. Nothing will make a person not want to return to your site, than the feeling that they were cheated. Most peoples time is precious these days, and they don't want to feel that you have wasted it.
If you are anything like me, then you tend to keep on writing long after you should have stopped. This is something I have to work on regularly. So this tip is to let you know that the post should be kept between 300 and 600 words. This translates into about a page of typing. You have to realize that you are not going to be able to go in depth on your subject matter but you still want to provide some substance, so that the reader feels that they have benefitted.
Most readers like things that are written in a simple style and format. You wouldn't want to use fancy terminology that hardly anyone would understand. It's also important that your spelling and grammar is correct. Don't only rely on spellcheck. Physically proofread it out loud to yourself. When you do this, you get to hear the flow of the post. You want to word it as if you were talking to the person face to face. Don't have your type all bunched up. Spread things out so that there is some white space dispersed throughout the page.
It's very important to have a regular schedule of adding posts to your blog. If you have visitors who have enjoyed your writings and they come back a week or so later and don't find any additional information, they might not try back again. Create a plan on how often you are going to add to your blog and let your readers know that if they come back, say every week, then they will find new and interesting material. You have to give them a reason to return. It's certainly not necessary to post daily but posting regularly is.
Make sure that your blog has a section for comments. The idea is to develop relationships so you want to invite your reader to interact with you. Unless the comment is spammy, then you should always reply to all the comments that are left for you. You want to get to know your readers and find out their interests. You might get some great ideas for subjects to blog about. Give them what they are interested in and they will come back again and again. Be warm and enthusiastic and let them know how you appreciate them spending their time to visit your site.
Follow these five suggestions and you will have a blog that people will come back to time and time again.

2 Simple Ways to Make Money

By Due Daniel
So, you've been laid off or you are a poor college student, or you're a stay at home mom (or dad these days), or you simply have too much month at the end of your money and you want to make a bit of extra money to suffice your situation. You could do what 99% of people do these days go find 3 part time jobs and work yourself to death; you can go spend your last $499 bucks on the next greatest multi-level marketing company or get scammed by an online marketing scam that boast of simple data entry money making, which bares no credibility. Why go through all those hoops when you can do one of these three super simple ways to make money.
These 2 simple ways to make money are very easy and free, may I add, you can make money fast, make money from home, make money online, or just make extra money.

The first simple way to make money is to start a blog and write on your favorite topic. For instance, if you love making candles you can blog about your craft on a daily basis. Blogging is sort of like charting your own reality show.
You can open a free blog with blogger or wordpress and write a new blog everyday on an aspect of making candles.
"But Chris how am I going to make money, by simply writing a blog?"
That is an excellent question. This is one way; you open an AdSense account and put Google ads on your blog. Also; you can sign up to be an affiliate with a merchant and promote their product on your blog.
If a vendor has a book or actually sells candles; it would probably sell pretty well on your blog as it is closely related or relevant to your blog. This could bring you easy money writing on a topic that is so easy and dear to you to write on.

The second way to make money online is to find forums or rooms where jobs are exchanged. A place like script lance is a website where people looking to have articles written for their website or blog; post jobs and you bid on them. It could be technical work or whatever, you just breeze through and bid on jobs you feel you can do.

Doing this I've personally make over $6000 in 3 months bidding on jobs and completing them of course when I won the bid. This can be lucrative if you are diligent in your search and bidding. Be sure to bid on jobs you can do and do a good job so you can get repeat business or healthy referrals.

As you can see these are 2 very simple ways to make money, you just have to get your creative juices going a bit. Both of these I do and they do not cost me a single penny to get done; just a little bit of time and creative diligence.

3 Step Formula For Using Article Writing To Market Your Business

One of the most challenging aspects of marketing your business on the internet when you first get started is actually advertising your website on the internet. This costs a lot of money and if you are not doing this on a consistent basis then it is very likely that your internet business will end up failing.
In this article I would like to go over some steps that you can use to market your business using articles that will not cost you any money.
1) Choose a profitable niche market
One of the most challenging steps with choosing your internet business is that you need to be able to choose a niche market that will actually produce results. When I first got started online I kept on choosing niche markets that I could earn very little or no income. The trick here is that you need to be able to choose a market that is not very competitive and you must be able to sell multiple products over and over again. Often people will choose a market for example selling beds where once the person has bought a bed there is no reason to buy again from you for several years.
2) Write consistently
Once your website is up and running you need to market it on a very consistent basis. What this means is that you need to write articles consistently. I have seen this over and over again where people write ten to twenty articles and then quit. To succeed with article writing you need to be writing consistently everyday. You will only notice good results after a long period of doing this.
3) Build an opt in list
One the main things that you need to do to experience success on the internet is that you need to send all your traffic to a squeeze page. Very few of your prospects will actually buy the first time so it is very important to do this. If you are not doing this then you will be leaving a lot of money on the table.

How to Make Free Money Taking Paid Surveys

Anand Kumar Smith
In the wake of recession in the United States the online surveys are a great way for Americans to earn extra cash needed to make ends meet. Here are some tips on how to make free money taking paid surveys.
Where to find paid survey companies
The best source of a list of paid survey companies is a paid survey review website that supplies this information free of cost. You can perform a Google search with the keyword paid survey reviews for finding such sites. You may find many sites requiring payment for a list or directory of paid survey companies. There is no need to opt for them. The same information is available for free at certain websites which are sustained by payments of survey companies for referrals they provide.
How to choose survey review sites
Try to rely only on those survey review web sites that provide detailed information about paid survey companies. If the reviewer is making promises that sound too good to be true, then in all probability the review is just a pack of lies. It's best to avoid such deals. To identify reliable reviews ensure that the review gives abundant paid survey company information. The reviewers of good review sites generally would have participated in survey proffered by the company being evaluated.
Registering with paid survey companies
Once you get a list of paid survey companies that interest you, the next step is to sign up with as many companies as you can. Signing up is free and the more companies you register with the greater is your earning potential. However if you cannot set aside much time for taking paid surveys it is better to limit registration to a couple of paid survey companies. 15-30 minutes time each day would be required in case you sign up with 3 or 4 companies.
Setting up a separate paid survey email account
Set up an email account exclusively for paid survey emails. Free email accounts can be created in Yahoo, Google or Aim. A separate email account will help you stay organized and track your advancement.
Taking paid surveys
When you take surveys invest 15-30 minutes for it. Greater participation from your side will cause the survey company to send more survey assignments to you. It is best to give an honest opinion to the survey questions. You may not be eligible for all surveys.
Earnings
Initially your earnings from taking surveys will be low. However, gradually the income will rise. You may not be able to earn a living with survey income. But you will get extra cash to supplement your regular income. This free money will come in handy to meet additional expenses.
The survey company requires opinions of more and more people to collect market research information for clients. The survey company's referral programs are a way of augmenting your earnings. You have to send referral links to acquaintances; if they sign up with the company you will be rewarded.
Try out these techniques to successfully make some free money from online paid surveys.

How Does One Earn From Paid Surveys?

Hannah A. Rice

It is a known fact that you can really earn money from doing paid surveys. However, do not believe those testimonials that say that you can get rich overnight. Even if you spend your whole day filling out surveys, you can never get the millions that you are wishing for.
So, how does paid survey works? First, you need to fill out a profile and may get invitations to take surveys. The main reason why paid surveys existed is because companies need your opinions on their products and services. This way, they are getting the right formula needed to make their product more acceptable by the buying public. So, with these companies, you are getting paid for your opinions.
Once you have become a member of a survey website, you will then be given lists of companies that offer survey jobs. You can send your job applications to several companies from the list. You will be paid depending on the survey you have accepted. Some surveys may cost higher than the others. For beginners, it is normal to get a minimum payment from companies. But as you establish your name in this industry, you will get higher rates and more job offers.
Simple surveys with two or three questions only can be worth $2 to $10. Others that are longer and more complicated can be worth $50 to $100. If you want to earn more, you can join focus groups which require one to participate in group discussions to be able to complete a survey. These types of survey usually take longer to complete but are worth higher.
Here is a free Top 7 List of Paid Survey Sites to Answer Surveys, paying $5-$275 for each paid survey taken.

The 5 Traits of Mindset You Need to Have in Order to Make Money in Blogging

Vincent Collaso

In order to make money in blogging, you'll first need to understand that your mindset is very important to having a successful blog. These are the 5 most powerful traits to make it so.

Give Information Generously
When you put content on your blog, make sure that you give, give and then give some more. The most successful blogs that make money blogging give tons of content long before asking their visitors to buy anything.
One tip I'd like to share with you is that you can request that readers give you comments and social bookmark that content if they like it. People aren't stupid, but a gentle reminder at the end of the post encourages them to perform this simple act.
When you're first starting out, you must give to your visitors to entice them to return for more of your content. Give them something they can hold on to and enjoy, something they can refer to others, so that your readership grows.

After Giving Then Ask
Only after a good sustained period of time do you finally ask your readers to buy something. This is because you've built a relationship with them. They like your content and like you because of it.
Finally after say, about at least a good month or two, you've built up a fair amount of trust with your readers. Now is a good time to subtly include a link or banner that leads them to a salesletter for this hot product or that can't miss service. This is the most proper to make money blogging.

Be Regular and Consistent
Give regular and consistent content, whether it be 1X/day, 3X/week, 2X/week or 2X/day and so forth. Your readers will appreciate your content will come to expect to see it at regular intervals, so post regularly and consistently.
Don't post in a scatological, or inconsistent manner. Your readers will lose interest, you won't make money blogging and then you'll lose them. You've spoiled them, so you must continue to post at the intervals they're accustomed to.

Report and Filter Your Niche
Whatever niche you're writing about, be sure to be a reporter on the latest, cutting edge news and views in that niche. Report on the news and you'll be seen as the go-to person when it comes to that niche.
Also, filter the information in your niche. When others in your niche are going crazy about a certain subject, you don't necessarily have to unless you or your readers believe that it's necessary.

Great Content That Brings In Readers
You can't write fluff in order to make money in blogging. Many people write dry, useless articles and give other forms of content that doesn't give the reader anything worth returning for.
If you want to make money online, remember that blogging has to be your key tool to bring more traffic to your salesletters, landing pages and product review sites that are linked to your blog.
Don't write or post content that just yammers and doesn't offer value to your readers. If they really learn something they didn't know before, then that's an excellent way to make your content super-attractive.
Therefore, to begin to make money from blogging, you need to give constantly to your readers. Then after a period of time, only then do you ask them to buy anything from you. Having regular, consistent content will build your readership and make your readers accustomed to hearing from you.
Reporting and filtering your niche will gain more loyal readers and establish you as an expert and leader in your particular niche. The great content you freely offer your readers will keep your readers coming eager for more from you.

These 5 traits are integral and will put you well on your way to make money from blogging.

How to Build an AdSense Niche Blog

Mike Ranger

You can build a money making AdSense niche blog from home, that will earn you extra money. Building an AdSense Niche Blog is easy for anybody even for the newbie. Blogs can be designed to discuss and share thoughts on any topic you would like to discuss. When you design a blog you usually want it to be about a topic or product you have a good knowledge of and can discuss many aspects of detail. Below you will find some very key steps required for building a blog
Step One: You need to find yourself a Niche market. OK, What is a Niche market? A Niche market is a topic or product that is more targeted, and focuses on a very specific topic. You want to pick something that is out there, but is focused so you can get up there in search engines and build traffic to your site. What is an example of a Blog with Niche Marketing? Consider the topic of "Bird Feeders" you can get really focused here by creating a blog that discusses specific types of bird feeders like "Squirrel Proof Bird Feeders". This will really narrow your competition and make it much easier getting search engine rankings.
Step Two: Now once you have found a potential Niche you need to do some keyword research. I like to use the major search engines for this research as they are the most widely used for anyone who is searching for information. Pick a 2, 3, or 4 word phrase that we call a long-tail keyword and enter it into to the search box. You now want to see the results of how many people are competing for that phrase and you will typically see this result in the upper right corner. The competition for your long-tail keyword should be less than one million for you to have any chance of ranking for this term. Remember the lower this number the easier it is to rank in the search engines. One more very key component is you want to uses keywords that advertisers are willing to pay for advertising. You can use the major search engines for this as well. You do this by doing a search for your keyword phrase and seeing how many sponsored links are on the search page.
Step Three: You are now ready to get started with your new blog and you can do this for free. The free blogging service I like to use is Blogger because it is very easy to use for anyone. Blogger also provides many good features including the ability to post AdSense ads. Once you register for a Blogger account you will need to choose a blog title. At that point you are basically set to start blogging but first you will need to complete step four.
Step Four: This is where you need to go to Google and set-up an AdSense account so you can get a publisher Id#. Please be certain to read all the instructions and especially the Google terms of service.
Upon completion of the above steps you are ready to start blogging and earning Google AdSense revenue. Remember though knowledge is power and the more you learn the better you will be at earning money with AdSense. There are many additional tools available that will help you learn and save time with research. Do not expect instant riches but rather a steady progression to more and more income over time.

The Biggest Mistake Most Bloggers Make When Starting Their Blogs

By Jared Conley

In the past several years, I have been a part of a large number of successful blogs, and have advised hundreds of new bloggers on how best to start and run professional blogs. There is one relatively consistent theme that I see with most bloggers that has the potential to seriously derail their future blog earnings.
That theme is focus, and it plays out with two related mistakes.
The Blog Topic is Too General
Many new bloggers have a topic in mind when they begin their blogs, but the topic is too broad. For example, health and well-being is a very broad topic. Colon health would be an example of a good alternative.
They Spread Their Branches too Far
Inevitably, new bloggers hit a wall with ideas for blog posts. Or sometimes they get wrapped up in the excitement of blogging, and start posting about unrelated ideas or topics. While it seems relatively innocuous, it has long-lasting damaging effects.
Why is this Lack of Focus a Mistake?
First, to attract loyal readers, you must provide them with depth of coverage, not breadth. They have likely found you because they had a specific information need that you filled. You must stay specific to keep them.
Second, if you ever want to monetize your blog, you will need your blog to be as tightly focused on one topic as possible. This focus will improve the rate of clicks you get on contextual advertising, will increase your contextual advertising payouts, and will enable you to target better performing affiliate offers. This is huge!
In my experience with hundreds of blogs, I've found that this focus can increase a blog's performance four-fold over a general blog with similar traffic patterns. So don't ignore focus and tightly-defined niches: doing so could kill your subscriptions and earnings before you even make it out of the gates.
Other articles in this series will address the concept of niches and focus in more detail.
